Playmate of the Year Party: Not Unlike a Long Island Bat Mitzvah

playboy_meandjoey.jpgFBLA was invited to the wildlife reserve known as the Playboy Mansion yesterday afternoon to celebrate the annual breastfest known as the Playmate of the Year Party. Some highlights:

  • Joey [pictured, left] was our seatmate on the shuttlebus from the parking lot. We asked her if she was a model, and she "playfully" pinched us (leaving a mark), as she snapped (again, playfully), "Centerfold!" Her eyes almost blinked when we asked her which year she was a centerfold. Her answer: "Bet you can't wait to get to that buffet!"

  • Really, it's a wildlife preserve. And not just for bacteria.

  • We got to meet Playboy's new art director, Rob Wilson, who works out of Chicago. His wife, Shanthi Sreenivasan, works in newsstand sales.

  • Chocolate covered strawberries and garlic shrimp. Two great tastes ...
