2008 Over, But Who's Next For Republicans?
But the one they seem to have overlooked, Cal. Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, was made clear to me last week when I did an interview with Australian radio about my documentary, "Running with Arnold." The Aussies asked me: "Wouldn't Arnold be the next Republican nominee?" I explained to them that the Ah-nuld would have to amend the Constitution to allow a foreign-born resident to become President and it would take two-thirds of Congress to say yes. Unless Arnold saves the world or maybe just the economy in the next couple of years, it's unlikely. But it could still be a possibility. Arnold, if he can gain some momentum, could be a possible candidate. It's been a boyhood dream of Arnold's for years (my doc made clear), so I'm sure he would welcome it. We would also be prepping for "Running with Arnold 2." Email This Post |
