Norman Lear was kinda right. The sitcom isn't quite dead...it's just pretty ancient. ABC announced yesterday that they had picked up the rumored Caveman comedy, which is based upon Geico commercials that are not even half as funny as those hilarious Mac commercials.

According to Ad Age, "Much as they do in the commercials they pitch for, the cavemen will confront issues of race in America and look at how they try to fit into the world -- humorously, of course."

Never ones to ignore issues of coworker compatibility, FBLA has checked with Geico's Gecko, who has been relegated to a mere on-site blog, and found no resentment. FBLA workplace analysts attribute this to his being a lizard.
