The Hollywood Reporter picked Rose Einstein for its newly created role of Vice President, Associate Publisher. The move caps a 25-year publishing career for Einstein that began as a Senior Account Executive for Variety.

Los Angeles, CA -- June 25, 2007 -- The Hollywood Reporter announced today that industry veteran Rose Einstein has been named to the newly created role of Vice President, Associate Publisher. The announcement was made by Eric Mika, Senior Vice President and Publishing Director of The Hollywood Reporter. Most recently, Einstein was Vice President, Advertising Sales for Netflix. Prior to that, she spent more than 25 years with Reed Business Information. She will report to Mika and will be based in Los Angeles.

In her new role, Einstein will oversee all sales and business
development for The Hollywood Reporter. A primary focus for Einstein will be the development and growth of key partner and customer relationships that will further strengthen The Hollywood Reporter brand across the global entertainment marketplace.

industry and whose experience, energy and dedicated focus will drive The Reporter to new heights," said Mika. "Rose brings an intimate knowledge and understanding of the entertainment business in all verticals and platforms, globally. Prior to her role at Netflix, Einstein was a long time Variety and Reed Business executive, most recently as Senior Vice President, Publishing Director for the Variety Group where she oversaw the publishing operations of 10 daily products, three weekly products, 250 special supplements, 20 custom pieces and multiple online properties. Prior to that, Einstein was Group Publisher at Reed Business Information where she was responsible for Video Business Magazine and Tradeshow Week, among other properties, and evaluated new product opportunities including directing development of business strategy, financial projections and marketing and sales plans for those opportunities. Einstein also held various other sales roles throughout her career at Variety including Managing Director of Sales, Associate Advertising Director and West Coast Sales Director. She began her career as Senior Account Executive for Daily Variety.

A graduate of George Washington University in Washington, D.C., Einstein has a Bachelor's degree in Journalism. She has held board and committee seats with several organizations including Variety -- The Children's Charity, Fast Forward to End Childhood Hunger, and the Video Hall of Fame.
