Affecting Change, Saving Elephants From Being Encased In Soap

Los Angeles Times reporter Tony Barboza wrote about bubble craftsman Fan Yang's planned attempt to place an elephant inside a soap bubble the Discovery Science Center.

Animal rights activists, including Bob Barker sent angry e-mails of protest, putting an end to the planned stunt.

One small score for journalism, one giant leap for elephant dignity.
