O.K. So there's nothing odd about a boss going out to dinner with his former employee, right? Nothing at all.

But when our spies told us that Sumner Redstone was dining with Sherry Lansing and Les Mooves at Dan Tana's on Friday night, we started spinning more conspiracy theories than a Suri watcher.

Could Sumner be wooing Sherry back out of retirement? Sherry, who headed Paramount for nine years was ousted (or retired, pick which ever story you like) after Tom Freston convinced Sumner to give her the boot (or let her retire, or whatever). But now that Freston's been axed, could Sherry be coming back?

Our spies didn't get close enough to their table to tell us what they were chatting about, but "they were laughing up a storm."

It'll be interesting to see who gets the last laugh.
