FBLA Goes to the Party: Natalie Angier Signs The Canon
Her tv producer brother Joe, and some of his cohorts, like KCET's Bret Marcus and Jacqueline Kain, and Isaac Mizrahi (not the Target one) were smoozing away. Kain's excited about the Wired Science series and website.
The Gallery was showing TwinArt, amazing large-format Polaroid photographs by Ellen and Lynda Kahn, who are also win Emmys for their title and graphics work. They were dressed twin-ishly, but not in a creepy way. Their video work was pretty cool, too.
In another part of the space, Steven Salzman's paintings, all done with interference acrylic on canvas, were hanging. Salzman's good at explaining his technique, as well as being fun to hang with, himself. Frank Feldinger, author and bon vivant was gracious about directing us to the bar, and that always makes a party flow. Angier told us that her next project was her NYT column, and that writing on the road was challenge enough. (Photos courtesy of Chris Nunley. Thanks!) Email This Post |
