LAT Staff Writes Its Own Stirring Memo -- Telling Tribune To Back Off
Hundreds of staffers have signed a petition supporting LAT editor Dean Baquet and publisher Jeff Johnson -- whom staffers fear might lose their jobs after publicly commenting against cutbacks. The letter will be sent to Tribune before a Thursday board meeting. "We're somewhere between much ado about nothing and freaking out," LAT legend Jim Newton told E&P.
