Talk about your miracles! KCRW is giving up Ruth Seymour's Hanukkah special, Philosophers, Fiddlers and Fools, after 28 years. Finally! The Jews have suffered enough.

Seymour, often called one of the most annoying voices on the air, wrote, in the program guide:

The Internet has meant that the program is no longer ephemeral, as originally intended. It exists online and is available on our website.

FBLA thinks it wasn't ephemeral enough. The final broadcast is this Friday.

Maybe KCRW will substitute trash-talking Sandra Tsing Loh's holiday program.
