Michael Phelps, winner of 14 career gold medals got photographed smoking a bong. Now it's an entire day of faux non-outrage by the media. Like mentioning it...not condemning it...but mentioning that it's being mentioned by other outlets...also not condemning it...but generally hinting that it should be condemned - for the children etc.

And then there are all sorts of apologies.

Is this a fall from grace?
