L.L. Cool J was the "surprise" opening guest at last night's Janet Jackson concert, and we were there to hear L.L. reveal a little secret:

"To all of you out there wondering if it's really me on MySpace. It's really me. A hundred and thirty thousand e-mails, and I'm trying to respond to each one. Sometimes I feel like a secretary."

By our calculations, this makes Mr. Cool J a more prolific writer than half the staffers at the New York Times. Music, schmusic. L.L. could have had a solid career with the A.P.
