A few recent beat changes at National Journal…

Brian Friel is now covering the Hill full-time (joining Rich Cohen and Kirk Victor in covering Congress).

Lisa Caruso has moved from the lobbying beat to an issues-oriented beat covering education, transportation, and immigration.

Alexis Simendinger will be filling the newly created beat of national correspondent. She’ll be examining public policy and political issues that are now at the state level but heading Washington’s way.
