Ah, so that explains it.

Is the reason that Deborah Howell chose not discuss the Domenech affair in her Sunday ombudsman column is that…she couldn’t defend it?

Howell was in the Star Tribune’s newsroom on Friday for a Q&A on journalism and one of their bloggers, “Digital Drifter“, asked her about Ben Domenech.

    “I can’t defend it. It’s a f****in’ disaster.”

Of course, does Howell only write about things that she can defend? Does she ever take the Post to task?
