A Poll

So with the announcement this week that the New York Times is launching TimeSelect, a premium service aimed at finally raising some money for the struggling cash-poor newspaper, we thought we might take a poll today, a la Saturday’s power lunch auctions.

For each of the Times’ columnists, please vote for how much you’ll be willing to pay to read their opinions: (1) “I’d pay $50 a year to NOT hear their opinion”; (2) “Not a plugged nickel”; (3) “Pay? This are the internets! They’re free!”; (4) “Fine. I’ll fork over the cash. Not happy, but the column’s worth it.”; (5) “$50 a year is a bargain!” (6) “All of Donald Trump’s dough.”

Here’s the list of columnists, in case you forget one or two:

David Brooks
Maureen Dowd
Tom Friedman
Bob Herbert
Nicholas Kristof
Paul Krugman
Frank Rich
John Tierney
