We have hints of the Tareq and Michaele Salahi interview in Carol Joynt‘s Q & A Cafe at The Ritz from earlier today.
Lunch sources said the Salahis’ announced they plan to host a “Real Housewives of D.C.” launch party on August 5. The couple wouldn’t spill on the locale but said it would be near the White House.
We’re told Tareq said Bravo did not want them to do today’s interview, but that Bravo needed the Salahis more than the other way around. (Ouch.)
Discussion included the couples’ contract, what they get paid, their appearances fees, what goes on “behind closed doors” between them and whether other cast members on the Bravo show are Michaele’s friends (word is that none are).
Joynt asked the Salahis whether Bravo tried to fire them after the White House party crashing. The couple apparently went mute.
