ABC’s Jon Karl: Best Week Ever?
Jonathan Karl‘s recent reporting on the Bunning saga and the one-year anniversary of the stimulus for ABC News has garnered praise from his colleagues and media critics alike. One such example is from The Baltimore Sun’s David Zurawik:
“Against a TV landscape dominated by partisan positioning on the one-year anniversary of the controversial stimulus package, Karl, the network’s senior congressional correspondent, offered this clear-eyed and yes, objective, in the best of that word, report on one slice of the stimulus pie.”
He again praised Jon Karl’s persistence with Bunning in an item last night as “a textbook example of the press functioning as it should.”
