Argetsinger Out at WaPo’s Reliable Source

Amy Argetsinger, who has written for WaPo‘s gossip column “The Reliable Source,” is finally moving on. She has long said it wouldn’t be a permanent gig. But then again, she’s worked there for the past eight years.

When a woman on Twitter expressed remorse that Argetsinger will be leaving, last night just before 7 p.m. she replied, “You are sweet to say so. But it’s time!”

She has written “The Reliable Source” with Roxanne Roberts since 2005.

WaPo Spokeswoman Kris Corrati is out today but we’ve written to the public relations department for more info. We first noticed the news this morning through tweets by Andrew Beaujon of Poynter and Politico‘s Dylan Byers.
