An Ugly Situation: Rowland Leaves TWT

Things just got really ugly at the Washington Times.   Literally.  TWT‘s hot stock plummeted this afternoon when Kara Rowland, arguably the paper’s most ravishing reporter, announced her resignation.  Adding insult to injury, the sexy scribe is taking her good looks across the pond to begin a one-year graduate program at the London School of Economics.

“I always knew I’d go back to school at some point — recently, the itch to delve deeper into some of the foreign-policy issues that have piqued my interest on the WH beat just became too strong to resist,” explained Rowland in an email announcing her departure.

Rowland, who covered both business and politics during her six years at the Times, will  begin her UK adventure later this month.  Good luck to Kara!  And watch out, Pippa!
