Barbie for Prez

Forget about President Obama and Mitt Romney. There’s a woman running for Prez and her name is Barbie. A publicist explained, “Also, wanted to note that the doll comes in several ethnicities – Caucasian, African American, Hispanic and Asian.”

Barbie’s party is naturally the “B Party.” And her platform? “Encourage girls of all ages to B inspired, B informed, and B involved.” Only Barbie can inspire girls with limitless possibilities through her mantra “if you can dream it, you can be it.”

The big message: “B Party™,” Barbie wants to encourage readers to participate in a ‘Take Your Daughters to the Polls’ movement this election season and inspire girls to become future leaders.

Not only is Barbie standing tall, she’s standing on her own two feet for the first time, literally.  Thanks to some “Mattel magic,” her fashionable wedge shoes allow her to stand on her own (or even, they joke, with a running mate)!
