Ben Bradlee and Sally Quinn, parents of the charming and talented Quinn Bradley, celebrate 30 years of marriage today. From the (lead) item in the “Personalities” column of The Washington Post: “Benjamin C. Bradlee, executive editor of The Washington Post, and Sally Quinn, staff writer in the paper’s Style section, were married yesterday afternoon. The civil ceremony was performed by Circuit Judge David L. Bazelon of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia circuit. … Quinn is the daughter of Lt. Gen. and Mrs. William W. Quinn.” Witnesses included Katharine Graham, then publisher of The Washington Post; columnist Art Buchwald; and legendary lawyer Edward Bennett Williams.
