Bill Press Promises No ‘Toxic Talk’ on Behar Tonight

bill press.jpg

Lefty radio host Bill Press, whose coming out with a new book, Toxic Talk, will appear on the Joy Behar show on HLN tonight at 9 p.m. (EST).

The book deals with talk show hosts people love to hate. This is the radio host’s first time on Behar’s show and “I’m excited,” he says, noting that he’ll be in Manhattan for the show.

To be sure, Press will appear alongside an interesting lineup. Other guests on Behar tonight include Will Phillips, a 10-year-old who won’t say the Pledge of Allegiance until gay people gain equality, and right-wing pundit Ann Coulter.

When asked how he’d mix with Coulter, Press assured there would be no attacks or animosity. “Ann Coulter – born with a meat cleaver for a tongue,” Press wrote to FishbowlDC. “Actually we’re friends. Can’t wait to see her defend Rand Paul. But, I promise, no matter how outrageous she gets, no ‘toxic talk’ from me!”

> Update: Press is scheduled to also appear on MSNBC’s “The Ed Show” tonight. The show airs at 6 p.m.(EST).
