Billings Upped At Roll Call

Roll Call‘s Charlie Mitchell announced today that Erin Billings has been promoted to deputy editor of the rag. Mitchell’s memo to staff below:

I am pleased to announce that Erin Billings will be assuming the title of deputy editor. This move reflects the outstanding job Erin has done as my senior editor for news content, the skills she has demonstrated as a manager and her commitment to constantly improving our newspaper and Web site.

Erin will continue to lead our House and Senate reporting team, while playing a key role in crafting Roll Call’s overall editorial strategy.
