The marketing efforts for BGov are officially in full swing. Taking advantage of the hoards of people celebrating St.Pat’s Day and NCAA tournaments, Bloomberg showered downtown D.C. with advertising, giveaways and information today.
If you venture out near the Verizon Center this evening, you’re sure to see their huge, animated screens boasting messages like “BLOOMBERG GOVERNMENT: ALL THE NEWS AND ANALYSIS YOU NEED TO COMPETE.” Similar projections are running through rush hour at the Union Station metro stop where BGov staffers offered demos, information and free bottles of water to the area’s lunch crowd this afternoon.
