Separated at Birth

Separated at Birth: Politico’s Donovan Slack

Today, we take a look at Politico’s Donovan Slack. Her recent Twitter avatar change reminded us of actress Laura Linney. Uncanny, right?

Separated at Birth: WaPo’s Jonathan Capehart

It’s probably safe to say Jonathan Capehart and Ezra Klein aren’t biologically related. Their personalities are just way too different. But they’re both writers at WaPo, they both cover politics and they’re both regularly seen on MSNBC.

And there’s something to be said about their physical similarities. You might say to either one, for example, “Look at those lips!” or “Check out those fashionable glasses!” Now granted, Capehart’s are way more fashionable.

Separated at Birth: Author David Corn

Today, in honor of David Corn‘s newly released book, Showdown, (that’s now all out there at the Union Station Barnes & Noble thanks to Corn’s powerful persuasion) we pair him with the late President Andrew Jackson. Nicknamed “Old Hickory” Jackson was the seventh prez of the U.S. This matching is brought to you courtesy of MMFA lackey Danny Mariachi.

Separated at Birth: UrbanDaddy Jeff Dufour

Today we pair UrbanDaddy.com’s Washington Editor Jeff Dufour and actor Gary Oldman (the bottom two pictures are both of Oldman). We also think we spot a dash of Keanu Reeves.

Separated at Birth: DCRTV’s Dave Hughes

We couldn’t resist watching the latest in “DaveTV”, the online TV show that DCRTV’s Dave Hughes produces from his rape dungeon home office. It’s a case study in an unstable maniac who thinks that anyone gives a rat’s ass what he has to say about the media, or anything else for that matter. His knowledge is thin. He’s notorious for blatantly swiping content from any and every Washington media outlet (except for Washingtonian‘s Carol Joynt since he’s her acting ass kisser publicist). His laugh will give you nightmares. His beard looks like someone ran over a squirrel and stapled it to his face. But, there was something oddly familiar about that look. Then, it struck us! Hughes is The Lorax from the Dr. Seuss books and film.

Separated at Birth: Terry McAuliffe

While watching CNN this morning, we noticed that outspoken chairman of the DNC and failed candidate for Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe looked an AWFUL lot like former Utah Governor and failed GOP candidate for President, Jon Huntsman. We present the photographic evidence. We report, you decide.

Separated at Birth: AP Logo

A reader writes in, “Is it just me, or does the new AP logo kinda look like a copy of National Journal, but with the red line flipped?” Not to fear, we will go back to regular human faces shortly.

Separated at Birth: Slate’s Dave Weigel

If you’ve ever played the popular video game “Angry Birds” you may have thought, ‘why does that angry bird look so familiar?’ Well, you’re not alone. FBDC is with you and we were able to decipher who the angry bird looks like: Slate‘s Dave Weigel, who is often mistaken for actor Charlie Sheen (before all the drugs).

Weigel isn’t perpetually angry nor is he a computer graphic bird. But there is an uncanny resemblance between him and the bird.

Separated at Birth: CNN’s Roland Martin

Here’s a weird one. Joe Jackson, father of the late Michael Jackson, is strikingly similar in appearance to the temporarily out-of-service Roland Martin of CNN.

But while they might look alike, Jackson doesn’t have a Twitter account, which keeps him out of the hot water Martin has found himself in as of late.

Separated at Birth: FNC’s Shep Smith

Today we match up FNC’s Shepard Smith and action movie star of the ’90s Jean-Claude Van Damm.

Van Damm is seen here sporting a seriously creepy mustache on set of an upcoming movie.
