Chaggaris’ farewell:
As many of you have heard by now, I will be leaving CBS News tomorrow
after 10 wonderful and fruitful years.Next week, I will begin a new challenge at Allbritton Communications,
better known as the owner of POLITICO. I have accepted a job as
Director of Television Projects/Senior Executive Producer where,
initially, I will focus on helping launch a new metro D.C. news
website/cable channel. My departure from CBS News is bittersweet; while I am excited for my new opportunity, it’s the quality people at CBS News that makes it
impossible not to be sad about leaving. There are so many exceptional folks at CBS News; if a fraction of my new co-workers are as great as my colleagues at CBS, I will be very lucky.
I wish you all the best in the future. Please stay in touch.
