CNN: Rove Speaks to Bush ‘Every Day or Two’

george-w-bush-karl-rove.jpg Former top President Bush aide Karl Rove appeared on CNN’s The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer, who asked about how much Rove keeps in touch with the former president.

BLITZER: How often do you speak with former President Bush?
ROVE: I talk to him every couple of days and e-mail him every day or two.
BLITZER: How is he doing?
ROVE: He’s doing really well. He’s — he’s got a wonderful life. He’s deeply involved in his presidential center in Dallas. He’s polishing a book that will be out in November. And life is really good for him.

Rove has been making the media rounds on his brand new book, Courage and Consequence: My Life as a Conservative in the Fight. He spoke with Blitzer on an array of topics including how the Tea Party could hurt the GOP, Liz Cheney’s claims about the Justice Department, the Iraq War and “Don’t Ask Don’t Tell.”
