Coming Soon To a Theater Near You

The “Matt & Judy Show,” the road-show of the two beleagured reporters facing jail time for having been told Valerie Plame’s name, is beginning to attract some positive reviews from the reknowned theater critics at E&P.

The normally funny and sometime stand-up comedian Matthew Cooper from Time Magazine is reserved while speaking about the case, while the NYT’s famously infamous Judith Miller’s “stump speech [is] a bit less careful.” Nothing quite like a footloose national writer, is there?

Even with the rave reviews pouring in, neither journalist will surmise the outcome of their case–which could force the show into a multi-month hiatus while they serve time in the federal pen while giving rise to the possibility of greatly increased franchise revenues post-pen (See Stewart, Martha — p. 106).

“Obviously, I hope we will win,” Miller said. “I have no idea.”
