Curran-t Events

In celebration of its 50th anniversary, Hotline has Roll Call’s editor Tim Curran this week as its Friday Feature.

Going through the normal questions, Curran, who hails from South Carolina and Annandale, Virginia, got his first job mowing lawns for Clippers Inc.

He’d interview Lee Harvey Oswald if he could (“for obvious reasons”), and his favorite vacation spot is anyplace that’s warm, sunny, and on the water.

His favorite book, he figures, is Frederick Exley’s “A Fan’s Notes,” and his last meal would be repeated servings of fried flounder, mashed potatoes, and collard greens.
