Emily Miller’s Two eHarmony Rejections Win ‘The View’

Screen Shot 2014-07-31 at 18.19.52FOX 5 DC chief investigative reporter Emily Miller guest-hosted “The View” Thursday morning, and in the show’s opening, the Emily Gets Her Gun author shared her experience with online dating. Miller’s comments preceded the brides from ABC’s “Married at First Sight” appearance as guests on the program.

“I’ve been out there…I’ve been dating…There’s nobody left,” said Miller, to which host Jenny McCarthy replied, “I used to think the same exact thing.”

Miller is one of several women, including CNN’s S.E. Cupp, being considered for the “conservative” role ABC is looking to fill.

Check out her clip, from today’s program, below.

Jay Carney Hits Up ‘The Late Show With David Letterman’

Last night on “The Late Show With David Letterman,” former White House press secretary Jay Carney joined as a guest while the show’s host read off several of Carney’s past responses to members of the WH Press Corps.

Referring to times he used, “No comment,” Carney told Letterman, “I tried to make it a complete sentence.” “The Late Show” host continued with several other non-answers the former Press Secretary occasionally provided and then delved into the freedom of the press.

“Well we do have freedom of the press, and reporters absolutely should come after to public officials and demand answers,” said Carney. “But there is, rightfully, a protected area of classified information, where if some public official decided to divulge that to a reporter, he or she is breaking the law.”
