DC Figures Inspire Huffington-Produced TV Sitcom
Forget “Real World” or the “Real Housewives of DC.” Arianna Huffington is set to produce a sitcom on three freshmen members of Congress, according to The Hollywood Reporter, drawing inspiration from “real-life Washington figures.”
Huffington is pairing up with “How I Met Your Mother” executive producer Greg Malins for this half-hour show, with script commitment on ABC.
“There is no better time to do a show about Washington,” Malins said to THR. “It’s such a dynamic place right now, it’s the coolest place in the universe.” And most nights, we agree.
