DC Media Types and Athletes “Walk This Way” for Charity
Becky Lee brought out the big guns last night for her charity’s fashion show “Walk this Way.” Becky’s Fund is a non-profit that supports domestic violence victims.
Redskins Clinton Portis, Jason Campbell and Albert Haynesworth, as well as DC United’s Devon McTavish, modeling Eric Finn Custom Clothiers, walked a runway across the rooftop pool at the Liasion Hotel downtown. NBC4 sports anchor Lindsay Czarniak emceed the event, which felt more like a night out in LA or NY than traditional DC.
Juleanna Glover, who’s a board member of Becky’s Fund, Redskins’ Chris Cooley and his wife, WUSA’s Angie Goff, Jayne Sandman, CBS’ Kaylee Hartung, TWT‘s Liz Glover, Politico‘s Amie Parnes, among many others on the packed roof, were in attendance.
Lee started “Becky’s Fund” with prize money she earned a second-runner up on “Survivor: Cook Islands.” Learn more about “Becky’s Fund” here.
Though we missed him, we heard Ginuwine was there. We didn’t, however, miss Portis special order fried shrimp and champagne backstage.
