Former White House Press Secretary Dee Dee Myers has some advice for incoming press secretary Robert Gibbs:
“Never take it personally, never lose your sense of humor, because on any given day, on every given day, you’ll need both…
“I would say be sure to have a good time, enjoy the moment. Some days last forever, but your time on the White House goes quickly.
“And be grateful for the opportunity to serve, which I know he is.
“I wish him all the best, I’m sure we’ll be in touch, and I’ll share more advice with him privately…..”
