Defense One has added two new contributors, according to a press release today:
Executive Editor Kevin Baron this week announced the addition of Gayle Tzemach Lemmon and Sarah Chayes as contributors to the site. Lemmon, senior fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations and the author of the New York Times bestseller The Dressmaker of Khair Khana, will cover the national security nexus in the Middle East. Chayes, senior associate at the Carnegie Endowment and former special adviser to the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, will write a series of articles on corruption and conflict across global hot spots involving the U.S. military.
At the same time, the defense industry pub announced the hiring of two editors. Technology Editor Patrick Tucker, former deputy editor of The Futurist,was brought on in February. And News Editor Ben Watson, a U.S. Army and Afghanistan war veteran, joined in early March from NPR.
