Whoa, sorry about that! My inner Salt-N-Pepa took over when I learned that Denzel Washington walks among us. The Academy Award winner is in the District today for the launch of a new national program, through the Boys and Girls Clubs of America, called “Be Great: Graduate” which identifies kids who are at risk of dropping out and offers them help to finish school. As part of his efforts, Washington will hit PBS Newshour to discuss the nation’s rising drop-out rates with Senior Correspondent Gwen Ifill. #WhattaMan
