Dueling Book Parties for Goff and O’Brien
While GQ, E! News’ Michael Yo and Robert Finfer are raising a glass to GQ Style Guy Glenn O’Brien‘s new book at Neyla Thursday night, a dueling book bash will be happening across town. Coincidentally titled “The GQ Candidate,” Keli Goff‘s new novel will be feted by Rep. Carolyn Maloney (D-NY), former congressman Artur Davis, Christine Delargy, Jamal Simmons, Pamela Sorensen, Kimball Stroud and David Sutphen, at the same time.”The GQ Candidate,” Goff’s first foray into fiction, follows Luke Cooper, a black and Jewish politician, from the Michigan Governor’s mansion to his race for the presidency.
A blogger, author and political analyst, you may recognize Goff from her frequent TV appearances and role as a contributing editor for TheLoop21.com and Huffington Post. The Goff gathering will be held at Blue Duck Tavern from 6.30 – 8.30 pm. Invite only. For more on her book, click here.
