EPpy Awards Snub Post Blogs

Editor & Publisher has unveiled its 2006 EPpy Award finalists, which honor interactive (online) media. USAToday.com scores a number of nominations for the awards, which will be announced May 19th in Las Vegas. Even the Knight Ridder Washington bureau picks up a nomination for its web tie-ins to the Discharged and Dishonored: Shortchanging America’s Veterans feature.

Interestingly, while washingtonpost.com is up for a number of awards, not a SINGLE one of the seventeen gazillion blogs that Jim Brady has launched is nominated for an award.
