Even Better Than We Thought

Bob Schieffer watched his first Fort Worth Cats game since the 1950s last week, living out any kid’s dream of being honored by your hometeam. As it turns out, we are not the only ones who wonder how great it would be to have your own bobblehead. Ft. Worth Star-Telegram asked what we all wanted to know — “What’s it like having your own bobblehead?”

Schieffer: “I’ve won an Emmy or two along the way, but that’s nothing like having your own bobblehead. … Everybody at CBS is so jealous they can’t stand it. Even Walter Cronkite never got a bobblehead.”

A sign of every great achievement is in fact trumping Cronkite. Nice work.
