Find the DC Journos in “State of Play” Deleted Scenes
If you can peel your eyes away from Ben Affleck and Robin Wright Penn long enough, you just may notice some more locally familiar faces in the deleted scenes of the 2009 political thriller “State of Play.”
FishbowlDC spotted BBC’s Katty Kay, WaPo‘s E.J. Dionne, CBS’ Bob Schieffer and his assistant Kaylee Hartung in a scene left on the editing room floor– a scene these journos know well, a press conference on Capitol Hill.
The production company invited a few media types to the set last year to star as extras.
