Fineman: I’d Support Matthews For Senator

MSNBC/Newsweek’s Howard Fineman appeared at the “Q&A Cafe” today (the last taping of the show until things get resolved with the show’s location — Nathans restaurant) and, when asked by host Carol Joynt if he thinks Chris Matthews will run in Pennsylvania, Fineman replied: “If he decides to run, he has my support.”

Fineman said Chris is a very close friend, is on the fence about whether to run, and is “agonizing” about whether to run. He says he expects Matthews will make a final decision over the holidays.
