“First Draft of History” Today and Tomorrow at Newseum

Today and tomorrow you’ll see the likes of David Petraeus, Steve Schmidt and David Axelrod, as well as journos like Charlie Gibson, Brian Williams and Chris Wallace, milling around the Newseum for the Atlantic‘s first-ever “First Draft of History” event. The Aspen Institute and the Newseum are also partners.

NBC’s David Gregory interviewed Sen. John McCain earlier this morning and right now PBS’ Jim Lehrer is sitting down with Janet Napolitano. Other interviews today include Michael Bennet and Joel Klein interviewed by Michele Norris, Lindsey Graham interviewed by Andrew Sullivan, Petraeus interviewed by “Nightly News” anchor Williams, Eric Cantor interviewed by Chuck Todd and Timothy Geithner interviewed by Wallace.

The festival’s full schedule and a live video feed can be found here. FBDC will also be on hand so check back for updates and highlights.
