FNC’s Ed Henry: ‘Well this is a nice start’
As FNC’s Ed Henry resumed the White House beat this week for his new employer, he received a glowing endorsement today from Baltimore Sun TV writer David Zurawik. In a nutshell, Zurawik writes, of all the dumb things Fox News has done lately, the one smart thing they’ve done is hire the ex-CNNer, whose contract at CNN was not going to be renewed.
Zurawik comes out on Henry’s behalf about as vociferously as anyone could. “Hiring Henry looks like a good move to me in terms of instant credibility and solid reporting. And I dare anyone to call him an ideologue based on his work at CNN.”
Henry was evidently pleased with the media writer’s story. In fact, he tweeted, “Well this is a nice start…” and linked to the story.
