Fox’s Rosen: Beatles and Watergate
Our cousin, TVNewser, points to a weekend profile of Fox News White House correspondent James Rosen in his hometown Staten Island Advance. The New Yorker has come a long way since he started in journalism at WREX-TV in Rockford, Illinois–the country’s 137th ranking media market.
The article notes that Rosen’s passion for the last decade, a book entitled “The Strong Man: John Mitchell, Nixon and Watergate,” will be published next year. For the work, Rosen has interviewed over 230 people, including the late Chief Justice, William Rehnquist.
He’s also a giant Beatles fan: “He has written a number of book reviews and other articles on the band, and has amassed a near comprehensive collection of their works. ‘I own everything they recorded — that you can obtain, legally or otherwise — including every single studio out-take of ‘Hey Jude,” said Rosen, referring to the band’s 1968 classic.”
