Georgetown U to Host Byron Pitts Book Event

Pitts_9_29.jpg Tomorrow evening, CBS News chief national correspondent and 60 Minutes contributor Byron Pitts will discuss his new book “Step Out on Nothing: How Faith and Family Helped Me Conquer Life’s Challenges” at an event hosted by Georgetown University.

Pitts will address his difficult childhood in inner-city Baltimore, his celebrated career at CBS and the future of journalism at 7.00pm in GU’s Copley Formal Lounge. A reception and book signing will follow.
