Gibbs Will Be Ready For You
From The Washington Post’s Anne Kornblut:
Robert Gibbs, the incoming White House press secretary, is reportedly taking the job very seriously — so seriously, in fact, that he is doing press secretary prep work during the transition to be ready for his first day at the podium.
Gibbs is conducting practice briefings and studying up on issues, Obama aides said, with the help of Anita Dunn, who was a senior communications adviser during the campaign. He is far from the only one doing homework: appointed Cabinet secretaries, from Secretary of State-designate Hillary Clinton to Attorney General nominee Eric Holder, are preparing for their upcoming confirmation hearings.
