“God — is he under hypnosis?” — MSNBC’s “Hardball” host Chris Matthews on his program Thursday, questioning a controversial TV ad run by Rep.-elect Ben Quayle (R-Ariz.). Matthews also wondered this week if Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) had been hypnotized. It’s Matthews’s new go-to phrase.
