Subject: Thanks againI’d like to add to the note I sent you over the weekend and thank you again for the way you handled your assignments as the healthcare debate built toward its peak over the past several weeks, particularly last week and into the weekend. Our whip count was widely regarded as the best (acknowledged in WSJ and at realclearpolitics). This was so because so many of you contributed fast accurate data to the joint effort. This was so even as the story grew. You did not sacrifice accuracy for speed, as some others did. We were fast, but we didn’t trip ourselves up by rushing.
Well done,
Hugo
