FishbowlDC would like to wish Tommy McFly, our favorite radio DJ from Mix 107.3 FM, a very happy birthday. He turns 24 today.

He wrote on his Facebook page: “What a differnce a year makes. Finished 23 strong with great friends, family, show and my first TV SEGMENT! Bring it on 24… Can’t wait to see what’s around the corner but also ENJOYING THE RIDE! Thanks for all the Birthday Wishes!”

His first TV segment (you can watch below) was “Let’s Talk Live” on News Channel 8, which aired Wednesday at noon. “Tweens are terrifying,” he said in the interview on his coverage of the Jonas Brothers concert Wednesday morning at 6 a.m.

For birthday lunch today at Lia’s in Friendship Heights, he dined on a bison burger, fries and gazpacho. “Just ate my body weight in lunch,” McFly joked via text.

We’re going to help him celebrate this weekend at District, where many a journo will show up to toast him.
