Heim Named New Sunday Source Deputy Editor

FishbowlDC has obtained the following internal Washington Post announcement:

After four years as Sunday Source’s deputy editor, Suzanne D’Amato is leaving The Post to be features editor at Domino Magazine. The New York-based shelter mag touts itself as “The Guide to Living with Style,” a perfect fit for our own style maven. Suzanne’s fashion savvy – not to mention her willingness to admit in print her love of Kangaroos sneakers and unicorn T-shirts – will be missed by us and her many online and print readers.

Luckily, Joe Heim has agreed to take on the role of Source deputy editor. Joe’s been the section’s assistant editor for three years, editing and writing lively, smart and practical pieces for the paper. (Beer Madness is his brainchild.) And while he won’t be doling out sartorial advice to readers as Suzanne did, he will continue to entertain, enlighten and occasionally enrage them weekly via Three Wise Guys.
