C-SPAN’s Steve Scully (a past prez of WHCA), Washington Examiner’s Julie Mason and White House veteran reporter Helen Thomas wave to FishbowlDC from the dais of the White House Correspondents’ Dinner just before President Obama and NBC’s “Tonight Show” Jay Leno did their monologues. This was the time when journos and celebs roamed the ballroom, table hopping with some talking some serious trash on topics such as whether a certain TV network contributor has gotten any work done on her face.
