Hudson Previews Performance (and Sings!) in the “Situation Room”

In an interview with CNN’s Suzanne Malveaux this afternoon, Jennifer Hudson said she’s “honored” and “excited,” but not nervous yet, to perform at the White House tonight.

Hudson revealed a little bit about her State Dinner performance as well- she’ll be singing “The Very Thought of You,” “What a Difference a Day Makes,” and “Somewhere.” Malveaux even coaxed her into a sneak peek “for those of us who don’t have tickets”– Hudson sang a few bars in the “Situation Room.”

The nerves may not have kicked in quite yet for tonight’s big performance, but they have for another big event… Hudson’s first Thanksgiving home-cooked meal. “I’m actually more nervous about fixing my first Thanksgiving meal than I am about singing at the White House,” she said.
